Michelle Davis, owner of JumpFit Indy, has been a certified AFAA Group Fitness Instructor since February of 2013.  She became a Licensed Instructor for the International organization Kangoo Jumps in May of 2013.  She is currently licensed to teach Kangoo Power, Dance and Boot Camp.

Michelle was introduced to Kangoo Jumps Rebound Shoes in in the spring of 2012.  Having been involved in personal fitness for many years, Michelle was surprised to learn about the Rebound Shoes.  They had been made by Kangoo Jumps in the early 90’s and looked like a cross between ski boots and inline skates.  Having worked for Rollerblade in the 90’s, this was definitely something different and unique she had not heard about!  After being convinced to give the boots a try, it took 30 seconds and it was love at first jump!  “I was bouncing like ‘Tigger’ with ‘mini trampolines’ on my feet”.

As she states “What I love most about the classes I teach is the moment I see people fall in love with this fun and dynamic fitness program just like I did!  The ability to see the positive effects of people adding this to their fitness regime is the best “feel good” feeling in the world! Weight loss transformation, increased strength and endurance, muscle toning and an 80% impact reduction on the knees, hips, spine and joints!  What’s not to love?”  She feels the key to success as an instructor is focusing on your students and their individual needs, and making it a safe, fun and encouraging environment for everyone of all ages and fitness ability!

Michelle has a business background of over 12 years in Human Resources as an Executive Recruiter and Staffing Specialist for Staffing Agencies, Financial Service Companies and Fortune 500 companies. She has a Masters in Human Resources, and her focus has been in Recruiting, Selection, Staffing, Training, Process Improvement and Project Redesign.  In addition, she has a Sales and Customer Service background of almost ten years developing new and established business opportunities within Staffing Agencies, Telecommunications and Retail Services.  She was also a Development Manager and Corporate Fundraiser for a non-profit organization working with small businesses to Fortune 500 companies.

Michelle has been offering these classes in sports clubs and corporations, spreading the joy and fun of a high energy workout that works all of the muscles in your body and burns almost 25% more calories than any other aerobic workout!  She is always looking to bring this fun and exciting program to new locations and individual party events!
